Mr. Fantasy thirded. But "The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys" is my favorite song.

Yeah, "Mr. Fantasy" is probably their best. But I quite like the *shorter* songs on "Low Spark"--I never want to hear the title track again. I only kinda like "Empty Phases" on "Barleycorn."

Mr. Fantasy for me. The first one I heard and still the best, I think. I guess there are like three different versions of it though, between the UK and at least 2 different US issues? Very confusing. I'm talking about the US one that starts off with "Heaven Is In Your Mind" and lacks "Paper Sun" (I think the latter is amazing of course! just never owned that version of the album.)

yeah "Light Up or Leave Me Alone" is one of my faves.

I've actually spent the most time with On The Road, which I'm sure puts me in a distinct minority. Oddly, I've never purchased another album by them. It has my favorite songs, in even more long-winded and noodly versions than the studio stuff.
