Do any of you know anything about the existence of jump rope/double dutch/hand clap rhyme recordings? I've found some sites online that transcribe some of these rhymes, but that seems like kind of a useless exercise. I wanna
hear this stuff.

Those Folkways albums are almost what I'm looking for. Maybe a little more modern?
The Go! Team is actually what prompted me to start looking for this stuff. From what I understand, they sampled the Cookie Crew quite a bit and I'm pretty sure that those samples are the double dutch sounding bits.

There seems to be a microscene devoted to Cheer TraX - I went looking for some but its pretty hard to find. Its great stuff, and can be similar ti baile funk.
