Just thought I'd let you guys work out a few questions. At least here in Norway, Easter is the time for quiz'es, so...

Some of the questions should be fairly easy, others are considerably tougher.

1. What do Beck, Radiohead, Air, Jason Falkner and Travis have in common?
2. In the mid 80s, XTC made a couple of albums as the tongue-in-cheek-psychedelia act Dukes Of Stratosfear. However, during the 80s, they did also record under a third alias? What was the alias, and what did they use it for?
3. Mention three alternative monickers that Elvis Costello released records under during the 80s?
4. Bill Drummond (KLF), Holly Johnson (FGTH) and Ian Broudie (Lightning Seeds, Echo & The Bunnymen's producer) have all played a part in the Liverpool scene. Other than being Liverpudlians, what do they have in common?
5. In 1982, two different albums were recorded at the same time in Abbey Road studios. The producer of one of them was the engineer of the other one, and ran from studio to studio working on both albums. Which two albums were these?
6. Vince Clarke has had a lot of success writing songs and playing synths in Erasure and Yazoo. Which band was he originally a member of?
7. During the 80s, Queen were joined by Prince, Princess and King. However, in the mid 80s they were all overshadowed (not neccessarily artistically...) when a real blue blooded person released a couple of singles that became hits in various European countries. Which royal person was it?
8. Nick Lowe debuted in 1978 with "Jesus Of Cool". However, the title was a bit too controversial in the US, and he got an alternate one instead. What was the new title?
9. Not until after Simon Le Bon joined did Duran Duran get their breakthrough. However, the original pre-fame singer did later score a few hits of his own, and is still a respected part of the underground scene. Who was it?
10. Other than being from Manchester, what do 10cc, Yardbirds, Herman's Hermits and The Hollies have in common?
