He didn't do much in the 90s, mind you. I found "Conversation Peace" a surprisingly good album. Haven't heard the new single yet, but since "Coversation Peace", he has had several of his hits covered, and his back catalogue rising in all those "best albums ever" lists again, so I hope he will get the mainstream comeback he deserves. There's so much more to him than "I Just Called To Say I Love You" and "Part Time Lover", and it would be a pity if those two ended up as his two last major hits.

Using Prince to strum that weak hook and En Vogue to sing (I shit you not) "Shame-shame-shamity-shame" is like killing a housefly with a pair of cannons.This ain't too hot. I'm gonna hold fast to the possibility that this is the weak track.I really do like what Stevie's done over the last twenty years or so; it just pales in comparison to what he did during the 'Talking Book' period.
