Looking for songs (recent ones preferably) that somehow incorporate what I'm defining as "schoolyard chants" and/or "gospel hymn-sounding things"

Here's what I've got so far:

TV on the Radio - "Satellite"
M.I.A. - "Galang"
Ludacris - "The Potion
the Go! Team - "Huddle Information"

Alice Cooper - "School's Out"

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 16:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Archers of Loaf - "After the Last Laugh"

Gwen Stefani, "Hollaback Girls"

"The Happiest Days of Our Lives"/"Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. II"--Pink Floyd
"If You're Feeling Sinister"--Belle & Sebastian
"All You Need Is Love"--The Beatles
"Theme from Madmax beyond Thunderdome (We Don't Need Another Hero)"--Tina Turner

Well, it seems like the definition of "recent" is flexible. So I nominate
The Queen is Dead", The Smiths

Oops! Totally overlooked "recent."

Even less recent, but 'The Clapping Song' by Shirley Ellis or the Belle Stars.

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 16:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Jackson 5, "Goin' Back to Indiana"

for recent, um, almost all southern bounce?

Jordan (Jordan), Tuesday, 29 March 2005 16:22 (twenty-one years ago)

recent, huh, I guess forget all mine then, except maybe B&S

Two things (and both stupendous):

Disco Rick & The Dogs - 'Your mama's on crack rock (for all your schoolyard needs)

Celestial Choir - 'Stand on the world [Larry Levan mix]' (gospel taken *BIG*)

For some reason, the Celestial Choir track was also released under the name 'The Joubert Singers', not sure why but would like to know. Oh and neither of these are recent, former is early 80s and latter is either very late 70s or very early 80s. Do hear them though.

Another one just came to mind, the ultracatchy and recent 'Take it to da house' by Trick Daddy has that cheerleader 'shawallawallabam, shabambamboom' chant thing as an interlude, but I think this is only in the video version, I've not managed to find an mp3 which has this in. I think the Dogs track also has that cheerleader chant in but I don't have a copy of it nearby to check.

Kidz Bop Kids would totally work for your comp, I think. Check out their cover of Modest Mouse's "Float On" which might still be on Fluxblog. It's way more fun than the original.

"schoolyard chants" = "Merched yn Neud Gwallt eu Gilydd" (Gorky's Zygotic Mynci)

"gospel hymn-sounding things" = "Alladin's Story" (Death in Vegas); "Tender" (Blur); "Movin on Up" (Primal Scream); lots of songs by Spacemen 3 and Spiritualized
