Going there this weekend. Any good record stores worth checking out? Any good place to find minimal techno/German stuff?

the pickings for any kind of techno are slim to nonexistent in dc.
your best bet is stumbling onto some used vinyl at crooked beat in adams morgan.
i've found a couple things there in the techno realm, but it's mostly stocked
with used house and disco vinyl as well as most other genres:

dj hut in dupont circle might carry the odd release by poker flat, but
it's almost exclusively house and hip hop there.

DJ Hut's been closed recently due to a fire in the basement at Alberto's pizza. There's also a pretty comprehensive thread on DC record stores in general -

washington dc record stores?

We wanted to let the D Soul heads know we will be back up and running this Friday April 1st at our normal time. We'll have a bunch of new product arriving on Thursday and Friday, so we'll be stocked with new goodies..

So if everyone could please spread the word, we would greatly appreciate it!! Thanks for all the support and prayers from everyone...
