the goodiebags were definitely incoherently and sometimes indigestibly varied. but the 7" picture discs were a lightyear leap, the a-sides were mutant pop singles, the b-sides shattered remixes of the first sides

Oh wow, last year I saw him give a variant of that speech in a Chinatown loft in Boston, and I loved every minute of it. He kept going on and on until everyone left and he forced the organizer to drag him off stage. By that time, he had gone on for about 2 and a half hours, including segments where he just played some of his records, and some of his infomercials. I couldn't get enough.
