Is this James Murphy or the whole group? Anyway, some questions:

When did he first listen to Daft Punk and why are they so namecheckable as compared to other influences? (If he says "Because punk is in the name" this is acceptable)

James Murphy is a fan of Casiotone for the Painfully Alone. Has he ever thought about touring with him?

Listening to new music? If so, what's interesting outside of DFA. Specifically, has he heard U.S.E. and the like.

JM has mentioned in interviews that he can come up with whole songs in his head before picking up instruments to record. How does the group dynamic work when touring, especially with extending bits and song segues. Does he feel like he's leading on stage, or does it flow more as a group?
