It's amazing, especially the title track

but way to short

Life is too $hort but this EP is the perfect length.

Anyone know of Diamond day is going to get reissued on vinyl? AMG has it down as such but I can't find it anywhere else and their whole profile of her is a litlle funky.

one strong track. most of it is kinda boring. honestly. i know we all want to love it, but it's NOT that great, am I alone here?

re-heat Sung Tongs with a more pastoral voice and serve. she sounds lovely in such a setting, though. maybe she can just flow over other folks' instrumentals...take that "Sprout and the Bean" beat and flip the script.

Beta (abeta), Thursday, 31 March 2005 16:11 (twenty-one years ago)

i hear that beta. JN would be nice if she sounded like Vashti. but would Vashti write such ridiculous lyrics? she might....

I love the creepy showtune title track and "I Remember Learning How to Dive." I definitely wish it was a full length.

the song about the cat is hilarious (intentionally?)

as i posted on the ________ Sounds a lot like Animal Collective... thread, this new EP reminds me a lot of His Name is Alive's King of Sweet and parts of Home is in Your Head... moreso the latter now that i've thought about it more.

"the song about the cat is hilarious (intentionally?)"

I was going to reference that for breezy's question about whether or not Vashti would write ridiculous lyrics.
