I'd also like to suggest that whoever said Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes is a bit off the mark, seeing as all the members were singers. And Teddy Pendergrass, who was the main singer on the biggest hits, is certainly better known in terms of true celebrity than any of the others, Harold Melvin included.
