Aesthetically, they're quite similar, I think, in that, I don't think "Wait" would have been released as a single had it not been for the success of "Drop It Like It's Hot" making it a sure thing.

But yeah, this track is just as hot as Snoops, though I wouldn't neccessarily say superior.

I'm a little surprised there hasn't been more love for this track here. It's practically Chakachas' Jungle Fever '05.

there have already been a few threads about it: Ying Yang Twins - Whisper In Your Ear etc.

I thought it was that similiar to "Drop It Like It's Hot", but according to Caramanica's Ying Yang article in XXL, DJ Smurf made the "Wait" beat right after hearing "Drop".

There's been a lot of love for it. My friend Ashley (who also likes dancing to random chicago house and bmore club songs) drunkenly requested "Wait" somewhere in the area of 26 times at the party we had friday. (I did finally play it)
