I've long suggested that the world would be a better, saner, more respectable place had Kiss all died sometime just prior to the recording of Unmasked (I used to temper that statement replacing Unmasked with Dynasy, but Dynasty did have some great moments. The same cannot really be said for Unmasked).

or maybe im just aprehensive about enjoying a future without more of that.

and if izzy had knifed axl in 1991 i might have enjoyed it, but i'd still have to hear those songs in bars too often.

Not at all. He is the only ex-boyband member who has actually started making respectable music later in his career, abandoning the sugar coated balladry of Take That, and releasing some truly great Britpop stuff instead.
