And in advance to anyone who says, "But surely this song isn't anywhere NEAR indefensible!"--Piss off. Yes it is.

Oh man, I love this tune and I'm not pissing off. I remember seeing the video, and for -years- (until I finally found the track on oldschool napster), I came -this- close to buying the soundtrack CD just so I could have it in my possession.

Of course, I put it on a CD for my (now ex) girlfriend, and she loathed it. I think the lyrics got in the way of her appreciation of the kick-ass melody though.

terrible, terrible song. aesthetically, philosophically... it's all just DUD.

Dick Eye Dale...ah. Memories of the mid 90s, when there was a glut of really terrible stuff alt-rock wannabe stuff coming out. He shares that space in my memory with the Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies and God Lives Underwater that no matter how much I'd love to forget, it keeps popping back up in my mind.

In all honesty though, its not the worst thing ever produced. Its listenable once every 5 years.

i still sometimes conflate it with "punk rock girl" but that one's way better.

its very catchy! lyrically though it is pretty indefensible.

This is where I consider myself lucky, I guess, in that while I recognize the band name I don't recognize the song at all.

two years pass...

I like the 'wolf'-like barking that comes after the main riff. It adds a touch of class to a song that is already the audio equivalent of a three-piece suit.
