ATLANTIC SD-16000: ABBA "Voulez-Vous"

I have spent many a night of late listening to the reissued version this album on the boxed set. It's certainly benefited from the presence of bonus tracks; had it had "Summer Night City," "Lovelight," and "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" on its original tracklisting it would've been among the defining disco records of its era.

That said, it's an interesting album. "Angel Eyes" has emerged as one of my favorite Abba tracks. "As Good As New" is an undeniable classic. "If It Wasn't For the Nights" is them doing disco to the nth degree -- as hooky as it is, it's almost not even Abba.

Still need to spend more time with "The King Has Lost His Crown," "Lovers (Live A Little Longer)" and "Kisses Of Fire..."
