Oh God really? That's funny. Sorry man.

Oh God really? That's funny. Sorry man.

No, don't apologize, he sends me other stuff as well! It's just kinda funny seeing it when I'm thinking to myself "Well I could just ask the guy directly." ;-)

Is foxydigitalis becoming the new godlike label of this whole scene without me noticing? I only just heard about them last year and now I'm all "Fuck, maybe I should have subscribed."

The label is cool, the online mag is too. That dude Br@d seems to have a genuine love for the music and is totally filling the void that Broken Face was supposed to fill.

yes, more details pleaseee.

Also, can we talk about The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants here?

one year passes...
BOTOS are serioulsy great. In a recent review of the album "Statue from Space", the writer, a member of (VxPxC), gushed: 'I cannot overstate how important I think this record is to the evolution of improvisational music and its players/appreciators.'

Whoa. Dude.

I haven't heard this album. I've got four BOTOS albums and I enjoy every bit of those ones though. Hugely consistent stuff.
An exerpt from a recent Brisbane show is available here

But as the dude said in an earlier post, a heap of their stuff's on soulseek. Otherwise Michael Donnelly's website ishere

A proper mymwly label!

From the mymwly blog:

label wise , things have been bopping along nicely here at mymwly and its looking like we will be soon expanding into some new arenas of majik music migration. the cdr thing is amazing for us low budget wanna be virgin megalords , but there comes a time when the lure of the factory burned cd can be resisted no longer. so over the next few months the new cd/lp only label extension of the mymwly society will take form. its name might be 'hand rolled oblivion' (if you can tell me where i stole that i will give you a prize) and it will focus on mymwly core collective new works and reissues and the work of close friends and like minded vibrationalists , all packaged in hand made art sleeves with all the trimmings. Mymwly will of course continue as a cdr only label .
