it's just ok. self indulgent to the max tho.

doesn't touch coachwhips.

it's breezy. i like the breeziness. it almost sounds like retro-lo-fi-rock. like something i would have heard in the 80's. i like saying lo-fi.

scott - you ever heard that ST Mikael album, Visions of a Trespasser? Shit's cool. Especially if yr into Bobb Trimble.

st mikael reminds me of the philadelphia record exchange. i think gareth is a bobb trimble fan, isn't he? gareth is my hero. i want to be gareth when i grow up. is jon gonna come back here and explain himself? did the coachwhips dude black his eye and kick his dog?

It's dope. Totally claustrophobic and warm and, yes, self-indulgent, but dude is on a mission to prove he's more than a coked-up firebrand screeching into a telephone reciever. Totally pulls it off in a dreamy, hazy, muffly way.

Also, I saw OCS play in a basement in Brooklyn and everyone was just floored by the sincerity of it all. Dude is no joke.
