Refer to my recent Brothers of the Occult Sisterhood thread for Volume One.
Volume 2: Pharoah Overlord!!! These Finnish freaks have been around a while but I'm just catching up now on their totally unique, totally fried rock-zonk. Some of the less self-consciously 'heavy' stuff sounds like dance music (well, of the Thomas Brinkman variety) as simulated by guitar and drums. Seek with yr soul. You'll love it.

Run, don't walk to your local record store to score a copy of Aereo-Plain. The best slab of Prog-grass ever!

Holy shit of the day: I'm probbaly not supposed to talk about this yet, but I just heard an unmastered version of the solo album by Ethan Miller (of Comets on Fire) and it's damn near fucking genius. Total Faces style feel good rock with amazing guitar playing. You'll need this when it comes out.
I also really like this new band called Indian Jewelry, who do lots of different kindsa noise rock sorta stuff, the best of which reminds me of prime era Royal Trux!

Mortuary Drape - totally sick Italian black metal in the classic style. They don't bother themselves with silly things like 'props' - they actually dig up real dead bodies for their cover art! Can't beat that.
