new album !

and it looks like it will be released properly in UK with no delays and stuff (while they still promote AW in USA !)

in case you didn't realise - the new album is more of the same (3 tracks are revised from the Stereo and the God ep from last year)

fuzzed up guitars, handclaps, girl/boy harmonies and suchlike.

think they have toned down the MBV styles a little.

right less of this banter - time for another spin ..

First listen was a huge letdown. After some repeats I'm getting into it. It's nice but no American Whip. Without the Shieldian magic they remind me a lot of The Breeders (no bad thing in my book, but still...)

its getting its claws into me.

i mean AW took a while .. i originally thought it was too light and airy .. suspect this album is the same ..

but who can resist the glory that is 'rockdove' .. that could go on for another 20 minutes and i think i'd still want more ..

They are now the Tindales, with a new EP called The Trees. I still like them a lot, and have no idea what's inspiring them to try to be rock stars.
