My friends played Coachella and said they hung out with Danny Devito there. Aparently, in addition to being a really sweet, funny and charming dude, he's also a big fan of Bloc Party and Fantomas!

What other unlikely celebs are fans of 'indie' stuff?

I remember that David Duchovney was a regular fixture at NYC indie rock shows (Ida, Elliot Smith, etc) in the late 90s.

This is a joyous mindblowing surprise along the level of Sherman Helmsley being a Yes and prog in general freak. Maybe all 70s sitcom stars are music maniacs. Does Henry Winkler get off on grime?

i've always thought danny devito was a cool cat. he produced "out of sight" and some other cool movies (and some bad movies too admittedly).

Danny DeVito made an appearance on John Lydon's short-lived show on VH1, you could tell he was a real fan of Lydon's music and seemed like a great guy altogether. In fact, he's the only guy on the show who Lydon seemed to like...he even said as much.
