BBC Two's new series Soul Deep - C or D?

I'll say definite Classic so far, but the idea that the last one is all about Beyonce, Mary J et al with no Dangelo or Erykah Badu is a bit disheartening. And this is cos I think Beyonce or Mary J have nothing to do with soul - of course they do - just that Dangelo and Badu and Van Hunt and co are modernising soul tradition and deserve a look in here, if no where else.
