I meant dividing the number of votes (or songs mentioned, I guess - either) by the total number of songs the Beatles released in each year, to give some kind of 'impact coefficient'. I mean - there are 23 votes for 1965 songs, but perhaps this is skewed by their releasing more songs in 1965 to choose from.

I think it's interesting that the two most commonly mentioned songs are effectively solo McCartney recordings (of course Lennon's harmonies on Rigby send it to the next level). I guess I hardly think of either of them as "Beatles" songs.
