TV On The Radio Activity

TV On The Radio is in the studio, deliriously working around the clock to bring you their follow-up to everyone's favorite of 2004, "Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes". There's no release date for the record just yet but we can tell you that guests include Photek, Craig Wedgren, Chris Coady, and members of Dragons of Zynth, Antibalas, and Celebration. When asked about the direction of the new record, TVOTR cryptically replied: "The songs are quite delicious ...we will crash into the sun" .

It wasn't my favourite of 2004, so that's not "everyone," is it?

Aside from Photek and Antibalas, none of those names ring a bell. Did they invite their circle of D&D gaming friends over, then?

LOL!!

i hope theyre just guests as in they play a little on certain tracks, not guests as in their presence is in your face all over the album.

I take it back slightly re: names -- I ASSUME they're referring to Craig Wedren of Shudder to Think but decided that an extra 'g' was necessary.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Tuesday, 17 May 2005 12:02 (twenty-one years ago)

Gaaaah why can't people just say 'second album' instead of 'sophomore'?

Oh, Photek's just one person isn't he... whoops. Maybe I was thinking of Fluke. For whatever reason. I think they were both on the Wipeout XL soundtrack.
