I just can't get enough lately.

Some favorites:

Illmatic
Enter the 36 Chambers
cLOUDDEAD
Straight Outta Compton
The Cold Vein
Doggystyle
Black on Both Sides
Violent By Design (Jedi Mind Tricks)
- Almost anything by MF Doom or Dalek

Albums I find overrated:

It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
3 Feet High and Rising

quasimoto-the further adventures of lord quas
mobb deep-the infamous...
slick rick-the great adventures of...
de la soul-the grind date
de la soul-stakes is high
outkast-ATLiens

damn i could go on forever

ol dirty bastard-return to the 36 chambers
genius/gza-liquid swords
raekwon-only built for cuban links
ghostface killah-ironaman or supreme clientele
the boogiemonsters-recognized thresholds of negative stress
company flow-funcrusher plus
gangstarr-step in the arena

i'm done for now. enjoy.

p.s. 3 feet high and rising ain't overrated, at least in my opinion...groundbreaking in terms of the use of skits and just plain individuality, especially in hip-hop. it takes a nation hasn't aged too well, but it's still dope.

Cannibal Ox, JMT and Cloudead are all shit.

Chris Stein & Various Artists-wildstyle.

NWA-efil4zaggin + 100 miles and runnin'.ep.

Eric B. & Rakim-don't sweat the technique.

EPMD-strictly business.

Rae & Ghost-only built 4 cuban linx.
