U-Roy's comp "With a Flick of my Musical Wrist" contains a remix done by King Sporty (aka Noel Williams). Noel went from being a Jamaican street DJ to a Funk producer to Disco to Electro to Bass, being one of Bob Marley's most important sidemen along the way.
He's most known now as the man behind Connie Case's "Get on Down".

I like U-Roy. His voice seems to get sampled a lot.

1. First, primitive Stooge-rock pre or same time as Stooges. "Flying" and "One Hour of Space Music" and "Live" with a song called "Boogie for George!" Big in Germany, which is where they found Michael Schenker for stage...
2. Schenker guitar hero arena-rock that never quite made it as a success in American arenas. Beloved by metal purists. My favorites were "No Heavy Petting" with rollicking piano that annoyed Schenker and "Obsession," where Schenker was getting ready to leave and then...
3. With Paul Chapman. And everyone should find the George Martin -- yep, George Martin!!! - produced LP right after Obsession. They also had a Bruce Springsteen fetish which made for an awkward moment or two. George Martin wanted to get into heavy rock and he took UFO to Monserratt to record it.
And the reformed UFO basically blows, although at times it's been all the originals. When Michael Schenker isn't busy being a homeless person, I think.

The Shep Pettibone of Unlimited Touch "Searchin' To Find The One" is choice early 80s groove with Smurf vocals... sparse and steady.

Unlimited Touch -- anonymous Prelude Records postdisco act. "I Hear Music In The Streets" is classic, "Searchin' To Find The One" would be c. if the Chipmunk/Smurf voices didn't intrude.

Yes, and it's one of the great songs on the record. "A Fool in Love."
