so i just heard the mix of "closer" with "in da club," and it's become a major guilty pleasure . . . i was thinking about other mixes that were fun back in the day (like the genie in a bottle/hard to explain mix) . . . this has probably been asked before, but to date what are your favorite mixes in this vein???

search for "mash ups" in ILX search. "Mix" is a different colloquialism here.

I thought that Bootylicious/Smells Like Teen Spirit one was pretty inspired.

I liked that one with the 'Sure Shot' acapella over 'Lust For Life'...

Annoyingly they moved the GYBO forum again, and again.

That Khia vs John Denver tune ("Thank God I'm Back") may be the best song I've heard this year.

There was this "Boulevard of Broken Songs" mix released right after the new Green Day album hit, and it was actually pretty cool... flowed from Boulevard of Broken Dreams into Wonderwall into Dream on, back and forth... sorta generic, but was flawlessly melded. Was entirely suprised at the result.
