caught em in early december. the drummer just adds to the thick, heavy sound imo. and they still got those long horror samples popping off, so don’t need to worry about that. great show.

something that bothers me - it is peak laziness to begin consecutive albums with a sample that is not only from the same damn movie, but occurs within one minute of each other in the movie.

I don't mind using repeat movie samples, but man, don't lead off with When a Stranger Calls twice.

naturally some of the samples made me actually check out the movies (the ones I hadn't seen, at least, which isn't a ton).

wound up watching "Three on a Meathook", which has the coolest sample on Hacked Up for Barbecue. sadly that point of the movie is the peak. it is an atrociously-assembled piece of crap that actually has 15 minutes of us watching the lead character watch a generic bar band play because they didn't have enough screenplay to reach 80 minutes.
