Is Josh Homme the coolest motherfucker in music?

B/c it's either him or Ed O'Brien. Or maybe Malkmus. Ok, not Malkmus.

Does ANYone actually want to be a douchebag like Thom Yorke, no matter how talented he may be? B/c I recently saw a pic of Homme wearing a leather jacket in some magazine, and realized that, though there may be some hardasses in punk or metal bands, none of them are in reality what you'd call cool. But Homme is. Did anybody see him on SNL last week? QOTSA had Will Ferrell (the host) come out in his "more cowbell" Blue Oyster Cult regalia. Any other band pulling this trick would have come off as douchebags, but even Homme putting his arm on Ferrell's shoulder after the song seemed damn cool.

Oh, I'd give my pinkies to be able to anything musically that Thom Yorke does. But would I pick to be a 5'7" pasty white guy with a lazy/blind eye or a 6'5" muscley guy who can actually pull off wearing a tight-fitting leather jacket and yet still plays a mean guitar?

josh homme is perhaps THE biggest douchebag in music today. his attempt to look hot and rock-starish on every magazine cover is pathetic. he is a fat, mediocre musician who has a fat, mediocre band. at best. "no one knows" was an ok song. i am sick of his fat redheaded face.
