I just found Black Yankee Rock in a stack of discs in a desk drawer in my office. I bought it on a crazy lark. Never listened to more than :30 of the first song. Anyone heard it? Is it good?

used to fucking love him. some real gems on each album of his but also some boring plodders. he needs to hook up with craig street again though. he produced the 1st album right?

"My Mom" is definitely a seek. Occasionally a song will pop up on random and I'll find myself thinking "huh, a Mark Eitzel song I don't remember" before realizing that it's Chocolate Genius.

Another vote for "My Mom." Really enjoy all of that record. "Black Yankee Rock" didn't do it for me so much but I should prob listen to it a few more times, too.
