$10 Question: Please give me proof that D'arcy played on ANY Smashing Pumpkins studio release.

Boy, do I ever hav a $100 bet that D'arcy simply HAD TO have played on AT LEAST ONE Smashing Pumpkins studio record. The opposing person (who is rather at times PIG HEADED) has made the bold statement that Billy "National Anthem" Corgan wouldn't let her play on ANYTHING. I'm willing to send a $10 bill (really, no kidding) to whomever can provide proof to the contrary.

Thanks, A LOT.

She plays bass on adore... you can see her playing in the Adore documetary.

There's a conflation of stories here. It's well known now that Siamese Dream was essentially a duo album (you know, like the White Stripes ;-) ) recorded by Corgan and Jimmy C. But apparently that was the only time a full SP album was recorded that way.

That said, I don't know how we're supposed to prove it to your friend or not. There are a variety of photos showing D'Arcy playing in studio for Mellon Collie, for instance; is he going to say they were staged?

Right, I was thinking the same thing about "proof". Where can I find the Adore documentary? Also, are the photos on MC in the record or findable on the web?

The Brainwasher:

He conceded, send address and I'll send you the $10, also I own a record store, so if you're looking for a CD/LP I can probably get that for you instead.
