Thought Lawrence had given up the ghost to be honest. Probably get it for the sleevenotes but preparing myself for another dose of diminishing returns. Hope I'm proved wrong.

diminishing returns? what planet do you live on? and he's been making music for 25 years, why would you think that he had "given up the ghost"? because his schedule isn't timely enough for you? maybe you shouldn't buy the new album. he would probably be crushed if you were disappointed by it.

heard it slightly dissapointed but then I was expecting the more produced Denim sound having not sampled the Mozart before. It's a bit worrying, Lawrance often sounds a truly desperate man cracking bad jokes in a last ditch attermpt to save his own sanity, the almost devotional love of POP filters through as it did in the best Denim stuff but some of it sounds rather uncomfortable, like he's trying to convince himself rather than us.
