I just came from the last seminar held at NYU on the making of 'Nations of Millions', where Schocklee totally held court, and egineers were there just to support his statements. He's so goddamned charismatic that I was more won over than ever, not to mention his views on music production have always been near 100% matching mine.
The whole seminar, aside from the critics' panel, stoked so many memories about that era.
The question was, what happened to Keith Schocklee, as his chair remained empty the whole time I was at the seminar.
Eric Sadler now lives in Atlantic Beach Florida (last time I checked), which is essentially where I lived for 20 years (Jacksonville FL [sic]).
