Can you imagine Debbie Harry singing Echo & The Bunnymen's "Seven Seas"?

I heard it in my head today, a little piece of what it would sound like if Debbie Harry covered Echo & The Bunnymen's "Seven Seas".

There's a Blondie song of some title I can't recall right now that I heard in my head at work today, and then I noticed this connection to Seven Seas as far as the notes went, so it resulted in Blondie merging into Echo in my brain a few times, I was at work when this happened. There was no music playing, but I heard this in my head. Debbie merging into Seven Seas. And those who don't think Ocean Rain is the best Echo & The Bunnymen album have my sympathies. Thank God indeed that The Go-Betweens didn't release an album called Ocean Rain as a certain thread would have had you believe without clicking on it.

I prefer Crocodiles.

i honestly cannot imagine this. the only blondie song that i can think of offa the top of my head that sounds even kinda sorta like "seven seas" would be "sunday girl" (in terms of its tempo more than anything).

and ocean rain is my favorite EAT&B rekkid, fer sure!

Ah yes. So did my best friend in high school. 'Tis a difference of opinion I know well, but so be it. Perhaps 20 years from now I will change my mind. But not likely.

Maybe it was Sunday Girl, I'll have to think about this some more to identify it, exactly.

Could it be "Touched By Your Presence, Dear" that you heard? Anyway, I can imagine a picture disk with Debbie kissing the tortoise shell.

And Heaven Up Here > those others.

velocity girl did a cover of "seven seas" which could possibly slightly approximate what this may sound like

I can't hear it myself, but I don't know many Blondie songs.
