Jesus Lizard = basilisk lizard

I always thought the name Jesus Lizard came about from the usual way bands choose names by string two or more unlikely words together. While flicking through the channels, I saw a bit of Wild Boys on MTV to and a lizard walking on water which they referred to as "jesus lizard." A quick Google search confirmed it.

I am probably the last to know this.

This takes the blasphemy right out of the band name for me.
