Circuit City Memorial Day Sale

I'm heading over there tomorrow (all CDs $9.99) and I'm going to look for Edan - Beauty and the Beat and Company Flow - Funcrusher Plus, but I don't have high hopes that they'll carry either.

But since I'm going over there, reccommend me some CDs that Circuit City probably WILL carry. It doesn't matter what genre, timeframe, etc., although I'm especially interested in rap at the moment.

Wait, what? I checked their website and it mentioned a couple of Memorial Day specials, but nothing about "all CDs $9.99." Is this at every location?

I'm pretty sure that it's at every location...check your weekly ad that comes with the newspaper.

I'm planning on getting either _Geto Boys_ or _We Can't Be Stopped_ (I don't know which to start with), but I'm not sure what else I should pick up. I didn't like any of Spoon's old records, but I heard the new one is different and good. The bland indie rock aspect of it kind of turns me off, though.

i doubt they'll have We Can't Be Stopped but definitely get that one first

Yes, I had hopes that they would carry Roxanne Shante, Buck 65, Mountain Goats, M.I.A. or Sleater-Kinney, but none is on their in-store computer rolls. They did have Hold Steady and Spoon. It probably wasn't worth the $5 savings to flip through the mess.

Circuit City plans to stay in business while it comes up with a plan to restructure.

Chapter 11 allows the company to keep creditors away while it undergoes internal restructuring.

oh man if you have gift cards better use 'em quick bcz after bankruptcy you can kind of get fucked (see: Sharper Image, Bennigan's, etc etc gift cards turning to dust).
