while obviously this lineup would miss the mark with the crowd at Musik on Broughton St I think it isn't too bad. given that they want a wide enough audience to be able to move all the tickets and too attract attention beyond the audience at the gig itself. not my bag but the whole Live8 thing is a bit of a salad bar to me. a few things I care for, lots I wouldn't touch and better stuff coming later (ie the summer festivals).

Funnily enough, I don't think any of these bands have been played at musik. The Stooges made it onto the poster one time, at someone else's request, but I don't think they ended up being played. Maybe on Saturday...
