I'm really curious about this. Pete and engadget says you need the same type of license that any internet radio station is supposed to have. Is this the same as what normal radio stations have?

If you're interested, here's my podcast for Towerrecords.com.

I play four full-length songs and talk about them. This week, I feature Mike Doughty, Tegan and Sara, Brendan Benson and Nouvelle Vague.

Next week, there won't be so much talking before the rocking. I promise.

I also promise not to self-promote again. Sorry.

any good metal podcasts?

stuck in a shitty job and need things to stream that aren't dance/indie/bbc radio/resonance/lollards.

think metal would sit there nicely in the background without sending me to sleep.

Another one that routinely puts out GREAT stuff:

on the wire - radio lancashire

just fantastic mixes & occasional super-rarities e.g. a king cry cry track (!!) which is how I found it in the first place, seeing if anybody had some cry cry

I've been listening to How Did This Get Made there is a funny one where they talk about TMNT II: The Secret of the Ooze. This one is about Ernest Goes to Jail and it's awesome. They talk about bad movies and it's pretty entertaining.
