not the one where he tests out his new "orchestral & chamber strings" sample discs (altho that's pretty awful) but the huge chrome cylinder box affair - it's like the stuff my coked up ex flatmate used to torture me with at 2am in the morning when he gets on his reaktor / reason setup after i lent him an autechre cd - odious pointlessness

"Huge Chrome Cylinder Box Unfolding" came out last year, so he's probably done about ten albums since then.

I think his latest release is the "orchestral & chamber strings" one, which has a horrible cover of 'Gloomy Sunday' on it.

Yeh, Cylindrical Box came out ages ago. It's not THAT bad but it's quite hard to listen to. Here's a review I wrote for Stylus at the time:

I can wholeheartedly recommend the one before the new orchestral one: Winnipeg is a Frozen Shithole. It's the best mentalist/splattercore/whatever you wanna call it album ever.

I had a listen to bogdan raczinski's "don the plates" over the wkend. now that is proper ADD hyper toytown drillnbass call it what you will but the tunes do things and they're not all the same

three weeks pass...

Strange that he's taken this long to follow up his last album (he was chugging stuff out relentlessly all through the 2000s) and yet he's still pretty much intent on combining neo-classical string samples and drill'n'bass with lame dick jokes... not sure I really have the patience for this sort of thing these days, but maybe?
