Late June Malaise

I, like my brother Peter, am suffering from the DC heatidity coma. I have been feeling quite unenthusiastic about my music lately, and I have no money with which to go rectify this situation.

Does anyone have any ideas about how to cure/manage this problem? I am currently working my way through an "A" playlist on my iPod, so this may give me a week or two of alphabetically listed tracks...but I need something EXCITING or at leat margianally interesting.

Ack! The Malaise! The MALAISE! Even Rare Earth's "Celebrate" is incapable of doing it. I may have to bring out "Friday Night, August 14th" if this haze doesn't lift soon.

But, then "Ain't Nothing Ta Fuck Wit" and everything was a little better...for a little while.

Indeed, THAT Peter. And this is his malaise ridden older brother begging for ILM assistance...stat!

Alex,

Thanks for the link, my friend. Some excellent perspective/ suggestions...I just got married and am working too much this summer. Quite possibly a bit of overload?

I think some reggae will do nicely this afternoon.
