kevin hopewell aka part 2 has sorted out a rather fine guestlist for his debut (out on big dada soon), its all hevy bass and very 2005. so someone tell me. is this stuff grime influenced? i hear a lot of Mia kinda style in the sandra melody fronted tracks.

the album is excellent by the way - i love the LSK tracks. but i suspect that it wont get the love it deserves from the blogsphere (or is there a new word for that chunk'o'web these days?). which is a great shame. though i aint sure re the album coverart (http://www.bigdada.com)

this is good but its almost too restrained. plus, his vocalists are kinda crappy, except for fusion, really. not that bassy either, sadly. hes very inventive, and interesting, but its in a prefuse 73 type way (ie kinda tepid sonically).

it rattles my bass bins - so i guess i have it eq'd slightly wrong. i like the sandra melody vocals, but each their own. not sure what you mean by too restrained. you rekcon he could have let some of the production tricks fly a little more wildly ? will be spinning it again later today during daylight hours .. so could hit me in a different way.

Yow just to let you know. Mia is the one that sounds like Sandra Melody.... not the other way round... look out for her tunes...a credable artist that has been around for years...foundation with Dread Broadcasting Corporatio!

Def nice album. All the beats bar a few is nice. All the vocalists got cred and lyrics to go, as Louise said they all originators of a lot of styles that out there now. Might not get the love but these are the days of crazy frogs
