In a bizarre and totally stupid move, oasis have dissed ManOwaR..... let battle commence! Raise your Hammers!

Tossars! Then again it seems Metal Hammer don't seem to know who
Manowar are since they said they are NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy
Metal). Last time I checked, Manowar are not British.

Orson Welles never did any narration on Oasis records. Thus Manowar clear winner...

I'd have thought it would be obvious who won.

Yeah I think Manowar hail from upstate New York.

ALL MEN PLAY ON TEN, NOEL!

Manowar are from NY (co-founded originally by ex-Dictator guitarist, Ross the Boss).

As INDEFENSIBLY SILLY as Manowar so irrefutably are, I think their bass-only rendition of the William Tell Overture (available as "William's Tale" on Batte Hymns) eclipses the entirety of Oasis' flaccid oeuvre in its sheer, manly, virile rocktacity.

man o war spent a good amount of time in binghampton or somewhere in the fingerlakes/central ny...the PA in one of my college dorms was bought from them.

would oasis take on Lemmy? really. i shouldn't be amazed by this but...enough..enough

Manowar win based on sheer volume of cover art alone.

Metal Warriors (Brothers Of Metal Pt. I)

Every one of us has heard the call
Brothers of True Metal proud and standing tall
We know the power within us has brought us to this hall
there's magic in the metal there's magic in us all

Heavy metal or no metal at all whimps and posers leave the hall
Heavy metal or no metal at all whimps and posers go on get out
Leave the hall

Now the world must listen to our decree
We don't turn down for anyone we do just what we please
got to make it louder, all men play on ten
If you're not into metal, you are not my friend

Heavy metal or no metal at all whimps and posers leave the hall
Heavy metal or no metal at all whimps and posers I said
Leave the hall

Now the world must listen to our decree
We don't turn down for anyone we do just what we please
Got to make it louder, all men play on ten
If you're not into metal, you are not my friend

There's metal in the air tonite, can you hear it call
If you ain't got the balls, to take it you can
Leave the hall

Heavy metal or no metal at all whimps and posers leave the hall
Heavy metal or no metal at all whimps and posers leave the hall
