What have you borrowed from public libraries recently?

Sibling thread to "what have you bought recently". Interpretation of "recently" is up to you. For me it's probably "during 2005". (Also remember this is ILM, books don't belong here. Oh all right, music books are OK if you must.)

ABC - The Lexicon of Love
The Adverts - Crossing the Red Sea With...
Amon Düül II - Tanz der Lemminge
Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes
Laurie Anderson - Big Science
The Animals - The Complete Animals
The Beatles - Abbey Road + Anthologies 1-3
Black Flag - Damaged
Black Sabbath - Master of Reality
Burning Spear - Song from the Burning Spear
Dr. Dre - The Chronic
Ensemble Tirana - Chants Polyphoniques d'Albanie
King Crimson - Larks' Tongues in Aspic
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin I + II
The Mothers of Invention - Freak Out!
Nas - Illmatic
Various - Planete Raï
Various - Best of Jungle vol. 1
Various - The Rough Guide to the Music of Indonesia
Various - Tamla Motown Gold
X - Los Angeles + Wild Gift

Lots of my picks turn out to be canonic + slightly subcanonic stuff I never seem to get around to actually buying. Plus dips into genres unfamiliar to me (I've tended to buy mostly indie fuxxory + electronic stuff and pop.)

I just checked out the Derrick May Innovator double CD set from our local library. Was surprised to find it there!

Yeah, often seems their purchasing policies are rather random, doesn't it? Probably inevitable with limited funds etc though. (But I believe there's another thread for this somewhere.)

I Heart NY Libraries, but I recently had three dvd's stolen from me that I had borrowed.
I now owe the NYPL 100 bucks to be paid back in twenty dollar installments each time I borrow. This (and no free time and more music than I know what to do with anyway) is preventing me from further running the stacks.

This is the thread where I tell you that the New York Public Library is CRUNK AS FUCK.

Public libraries whose CD acquisitions frequently please and/or astonish
