I've sold a fair amount of shit, all of which I like, but none of which I have any sentimental attachment to. Today I traded in Beauty and the Beat & Primitive Plus by Edan and Pretty In Black by the Raveonettes, which I enjoy a lot, but I don't need to original copies. And I got $16 in trade for them!!!

i've been selling lots of stuff on ebay for diaper money. i sold that elektroids album to some french dude for 60 bucks. and a spacemen 3 record for 50 bucks. i sold a rap 12-inch for 60 bucks. i heart the japanese.

Ten Rapid by Mogwai?????

I sold Sparklehorse's "Chords I've Known" on ebay for $30, Eno's "Dali's Car" for $30, and Swervedriver's "Raise" for $30 (and I only paid $3 for it). I have a big stack to trade but haven't had the energy to go to the shop.

I've only heard Mogwai's latest CD, and my local store had Ten Rapid on sale, so I bought it with high expectations... it was terrible. Jesus, I couldn't stand it.

Ten Rapid uses the post-rock convention of alternating between loud and soft moments way too much. Also, the soft parts are so soft that I can barely hear them so I turn up my speakers only to hear the loud parts be so loud that I have to turn them down again and I have a headache. What the hell? This CD sucks.

I never normally sell stuff but I traded in Stankonia because I was so fed up of seeing Andre 3000 everywhere and decided they didn't really do it for me anyway. I did it at Selectadisc's second hand place in Nottingham and hence got J-Kwon's album a lot cheaper. That is good.

i'm seriously wanting to get rid of some idm vinyl but i'm weighing getting raped at the record store ($1 each) versus trying to sell to some picky european bitches on ebay who will complain if there's a speck of dust on the runout groove OR maybe selling direct on some stupid idm related list. god i hate selling vinyl.
