i live in hong kong, and there is some cool stuff going on here and in the mainland (though sometimes hard to track down).
these were the performers from "get it louder" (i saw a bit at the shenzhen opening), though i don't know where you can get their stuff

these were some of the electronic artists playing with akufen when he came through shenzhen in early march, pretty awesome (although i didn't know which ones were which since they didn't announce it)... also bizarre because there was a fairly small crowd in this warehouse artspace, and a huge number of cops wandering around, trying to blend in with the audience, i think because it was technically "an illegal rave" and they expected to bust people with drugs or something... oh china.
