"Sunspots" - Bob Mould - refreshes me every single time I go through this. there is apparently not a mood in which i cannot appreciate its warm yet austere Shaker-ly like beauty. its like getting refurbished.

"Don't Look Back" by Teenage Fanclub. In fact the whole of the Grand Prix album has this effect. It's never made me sad when i'm happy, while making me happy when i'm sad. It did the trick when my grandfather died last year, so that's good enough for me!
