so tomorrow i'm getting my 4 impacted wisdom teeth cracked and taken out, and i am gonna be fucked up on general anaesthetic for a couple of hours after the surgery. what should i bring music-wise to best appreciate this? i'm a little bit excited.

Alas, it may have too much nostalgic value. I was a big Warp nerd in high school.

I'm hoping for something I have no attachment to yet. You know, making new memories and whatnot. But definitely a good choice if not for my minor addition.

...Icy Hot Stuntaz didn't actually make music, did they?!?

In the new Thurston Moore-edited book about mixtapes Glen E. Friedman tells a great story of a tape he made to get himself through oral surgery. He hated and was terrified of the dentist so made himself a tape to listen to under nitrous, loud punk to drown out the drill. He got so deeply into the tape that when the dentist finished before the tape ended he asked, "Are you sure you'll all done?"

"you're all done" is what I meant.
