First Hard Stuff album is in the same space as first Dust.

Yeah, IAN, Get the second album! I think it's an overall better album than the first one. Although nothing on it reaches the heighths of "From a Dry Camel", from that 1st Dust lp. That is seriously one of THEEE great 70s thundermothers.
But the second one has some great stuff too. Like "Suicide", which has the most Hetfield-esque vocals. It's all good though, you'll want them both for sure.

HSAS was a big seller in America for a short time. The kind of thing Neal Schon always was good at getting himself into post Santana and excluding Journey. Bad English comes to mind, a band I saw, playing before the 2,000 screeching little girls phenom, updating HSAS with John Waite in the place of Sammy Hagar.
Aaronson was also in Stories, which for awhile, qualified him as superb hack bass player for bands that didn't really go anywhere but were highly regarded. I'd say his best run was backing Pat Benatar and it looked like he was onstage with her on the recent CMT Crossroads although I could be mistaken, hmmmm-hmmmm. He's also on an Adam Bomb solo record I have that purported to be one of the best glam recordings ever made. That's not quite true although the song "Doom Glorified" ought to be in everyone's hard rock collection.
