Yeh you're probably 80% right. I'd just like to hear it.

I suspect it'll be really good and a lot of people will continue to player-hate on Skinner because they think it makes them look clever

I hate people who hate people or things because of that reason.

For Instence: My Brother hate's the fact that people really like that game Nintendogs. People should stop being Non-Comformist and just be themselves.

P.S. does anyone know about this song?

IT BAD

Saw an interview with Skinner where he talked about working with Matt Bellamy and how they were "close to being a British Rage Against The Machine".

I would like to point out I've been right about this fuckwit for the past seven years, and thankfully everybody know realises I was right.

i never fucking liked him

so yeah, you're right, but not heroically so

quite funny opening the metacritic pages for the first two albums mind, how can so many have been so completely duped

Just got offed, Monday, 18 August 2008 21:19 (seventeen years ago)

People still rate the first album and the second to an extent as well. Dom your post implies a critical volte-face that just hasn't happened. I think pretty much everyone agrees the recent stuff is dire.

it was hard picking which of the 2 billion Streets threads to revive for this

gave him benefit of doubt as will still rep the first album but the opening delivery on this new single just sums up the decline immediately. didn't wait to see if there was anything humourous later on.

blueski, Monday, 18 August 2008 21:27 (seventeen years ago)

It goes on a bit doesn't it? Its kind of like he deliberately has to make his delivery even more ragged and half-arsed with each successive release. Hard to think of an artist that believes and panders to his own press to such an extent, and then still manages to get it wrong.

ban pizz strings along with 808

blueski, Monday, 18 August 2008 21:32 (seventeen years ago)

he's just music for a regular bloke like me

listened to Grand for the first time in years the other night on a drunken night out. I was amazed at how well it held up. So still top marks for the first two. Just ignore the recent stuff and try to push the Mitchell Brothers out of your head.

Gukbe, Monday, 18 August 2008 22:37 (seventeen years ago)

first one still absolute classic solid gold masterpiece. this new song seems even worse than the last album which is really going it some.

piscesx, Tuesday, 19 August 2008 01:57 (seventeen years ago)
