Kraftwerk agreed to produce Michael Jackson's "Bad" ... how would this have changed the musical time/warp continuum?

In a recent interview with Ralf Hutter in MOJO, apparently one of the things mentioned in the forward was that Kraftwerk were approached circa Electric Cafe to produce Michael Jackson's upcoming album. Of course, they turned down the offer. (This is one of MANY things that made my jaw drop. That Kraftwerk article is HIGHLY recommended.)

But what if they had agreed? What would Bad have sounded like? Would it have still be called Bad? How would Hutter, Schneider, Jackson, and Jones interact during a typical lunch break?

The more one thinks about this, the more unreal the scenario gets... Kraftwerk never really "produced" anybody other than themselves (outside anything they did with their Düsseldorf cohorts pre-Autobahn, although that would be more "jamming" than "producing" at that period, surely).. so agreeing to embrace The King Of Pop would have been almost literally an unreal move on their part. But I still wonder about these stupid alternate music universe scenarios, because it can be fun and it definitely kills time.
