Two infectious, wordless, circular chants designed to be repeated ad infinitum. In the left corner, weighing in at 800 million pounds, "Naaa Na-Na NA-Na-Na Naaa." In the right corner, the young challenger: "Ya Ya HEY, O-Yo I-O-Yo-Yo Ya Ya HEY."

"Hey Jude" has thirty-five years of familiarity on its side, obviously... Which probably renders it an automatic winner: we feel like we were born with that thing in our heads.

how is a "galang" coda not just an updated form of the "hey jude" coda? i always thought the nonsense syllables were the thing -- makes no difference which nonsense syllables. or does it?
