spectrum 'highs lows and heavenly blows', you could even tack on the b-side 'go to sleep' at the end.

More hillbilly ambient: Pelt Ayahuasca. Also useful as a sleep aid. Their brand new album probably also qualifies.

Tripmaker (SDWitzm), Monday, 15 August 2005 14:11 (twenty years ago)

I really like the "Excursions In Ambience" compilations put out on Moonshine, especially #3 and #4. The tracks are really well selected, but they do tend to get pretty dark and hypnotic by the end of the 4th one. Highlights are songs by Seefeel, Luna Sol (aka Rabbit In The Moon), and Ben Neill's "Somnabula (Mutant Mix)." Reaching further back another classic compilation is "Ambient Dub Vol. 1" (label?). And what about the Art Of Noise?

Heavenly Music Corporation: In a Garden of Eden. That's a little known Kim Cascone album ya know. It was for his newborn child and it's very relaxing.

That new Animal Collective album is pretty much all over this.

So it's more womblike than, say, Sung Tongs?

Lukas (lukas), Tuesday, 16 August 2005 19:22 (twenty years ago)

Finally I finished the mixing for my new Album which should appear as

lot´s of guitar, piano and different string and bow sounds all played
by myself. So keep your eyes and ears open for this.

Now my seven-months-pregnant friend asked me to make a lullaby ambient mix for her kid. Shit is real!
